Huyang suffered the forerunner of the rain season
After a period when many things have been to our advantage, we have now equally been in trouble here after the first tropical rain has shown that we have been too frugal with raising the grounds.
With the small budget what was available from donations, we have tried to do as much as possible and cut down on what seemed to be not of immediate importance.
Unfortunately, nature thinks differently - the whole kennel was flooded and we had no funds available to build dog shelters, so the dogs had to live in the flood water and the rain.
Well, something needed to happen quickly before diseases and other miseries would result from the situation and the first victims were already emerged.
What is always needed are donations for further ground raising and for shelters because at this time there were no dog pens existing in the center, since the old ones had to be demolished due to the fact that they had been built against the old fence, which now was replaced.
We hope that help will come here soon to see if we can get some soil from it, and also remove the top concrete beam from the front gate, so that trucks have free access to the terrain again.
We are also waiting for the water to recede, because at this moment the next problem is that if they were to enter with this water level they would surely get stuck in the mud.
